Why not get yourself a brilliant pre-wedding photo shoot completely free of charge? Any client booking a wedding photography collection which includes a wedding album will be entitled to receive a complimentary pre-wedding photo shoot upgrade.
The pre-wedding photo shoot usually costs £250 and provides a wonderful opportunity to experience a photo shoot before your wedding day. Your complimentary photo shoot must take place in or around Edinburgh and The Lothians, though the special offer is available to couples getting married anywhere in Scotland (travel expenses may apply for shoots outside of Edinburgh and The Lothians, ask for details). We will spend up to two hours finding out which poses work for you and perhaps more importantly, which don’t. I’ll provide direction on how to pose (nothing wacky, I promise), as well as a varied selection of natural candid shots. This ensures that we make the most of our limited time together on your wedding day. Ideally, our pre-wedding photo shoot will take place no more than a couple of months before your wedding day, ensuring what we learn is still fresh in our memories by the time your big day arrives!
The pre-wedding photo shoot is fun, it’s free and you end up with a portfolio of awesome photos. Please view a gallery of my recent pre-wedding photos here.
Charles and Kim’s Pre-wedding Photo Shoot
Charles and Kim were married in Edinburgh and took up my offer of a pre-wedding photo shoot. We arranged to meet up on Corstorphine Hill to the west of the city. This provided a great opportunity to get to know each other a bit better and shoot some gorgeous photos.
This lovely couple were great fun to be around and were happy to allow me to guide them during our photo shoot. Most of the poses we shot worked really well. More importantly, we discovered which poses didn’t work. Kim is shorter than Charles and we found that Charles didn’t look comfortable if the shot involved bending or kneeling to bring his head level with Kim. This is great to find out during the pre-wedding shoot, as it means we can adapt the poses to ensure what we photograph on the wedding day looks natural and relaxed. We know what shots look great and work really well, meaning our time together on the wedding day will be really productive and enjoyable. And that’s exactly how it should be!
I’d like to share a few of my favourite photos from our pre-wedding photo shoot. Enjoy!
