I recently had the most amazing day filming Jemma and Kenneth’s Moorpark House wedding day. They were married at St Mirin’s Cathedral in Paisley. Their wedding reception was at Moorpark House, Kilbirnie.
The day began with me filming groom and guests arrival at St Mirin’s Cathedral. I made extensive use of my Steadicam cinematic stabiliser. This allowed me to film beautiful cinematic video. It’s particularly good for filming shots on the move. One of my favourite parts was filming the newly-weds as they came up the aisle. I walked back with the camera pointing towards Jemma and Kenneth. Creating this type of shot is almost impossible filming hand-held.
After the ceremony, everyone headed to Moorpark House for the wedding reception. This wedding venue was a beautiful place for a wedding reception. I filmed a few brilliant shots of the newly-weds in and around Moorpark House. The gardens and backdrop of Moorpark House are lovely. We were fortunate with the weather. The whole day was really sunny and not too windy.
My coverage of this wonderful wedding day finishes with the filming of the first three dances. Jemma and Kenneth were great fun to film and a really lovely couple.
I’ve created wedding photos taken from my favourite parts of the Moorpark House wedding video. I’ve then mixed these images with music and created this beautiful slide-show, shown below.
The slide-show was created with over a hundred photo from the video camera footage and editing this to a music backing track.
The movement of the images keeps the entire mix fresh and interesting. Enjoy!
