I recently had the pleasure of photographing Dawn and Matt’s beautiful Lothian Chambers wedding. They were married at Edinburgh’s main registry office, Lothian Chambers. This beautiful civil wedding venue is located right in the heart of Edinburgh. I’ve covered a lot of Lothian Chambers weddings in the past 5 years and always love being there.
My coverage of the day began with taking photos of the groom and guest’s arrivals in Parliament Square. We took a few small group wedding photos, then everyone headed indoors to await beautiful bride Dawn.
Dawn looked lovely in her wedding dress. We took a few photos on the staircase of Lothian Chambers, before heading up the ceremony room.
After the intimate wedding ceremony and signing of the marriage schedule, everyone went downstairs to wait for the newly-weds. I took a few photos of Dawn and Matt on their own. Then the newly-weds went down to be congratulated by the guests. Unfortunately by this time it was raining, so we did the group photos in the reception area of Lothian Chambers. I gave the newly-weds a white umbrella and captured a few street photos of them making their way along George IV Bridge.
As this was a small and intimate wedding the reception was a meal in a nearby restaurant. The evening reception was held at the Queen Charlotte Rooms in Leith. I went there to take a few photos of the evening guests arriving. I then photographed the newly-weds cutting their wedding cake and their first dance.
My Wedding Photo Slide-show is a really popular option and ideal for sharing your favourite wedding photos with family and friends. All you need too do is select your favourite songs as backing tracks, I’ll do the rest! The Wedding Photo Slide-show is presented in a bespoke case.
I’ll also upload your Wedding Photo Slide show on to my website. This allows family and friends to view your wedding photos, too.
The video shown above was created from around a hundred photos, specially selected from a total of around 200 photos.
Here’s a few wedding photos from Dawn and Matt’s wedding day. Enjoy!
