Bridal Party preparations at home or your hotel are the perfect opening to your Edinburgh wedding video. This option is included in my top wedding video collection and is available as an upgrade for all other collections.
I visit you either at home or your hotel and film an hour of the preparations before the wedding ceremony. I have found that the best time to film is late morning, or when the makeup is being applied and shortly before the bride puts her wedding dress on. From the hour of filming, I take all the best bits and synchronise the edit to music specially chosen by the bride and groom. You receive the perfect opening chapter to your wedding video. I love to include all the fun, laughter, champagne drinking and general happiness that always makes the preparations so much fun!
If the bride and groom are both getting ready at the same venue I can easily divide my time between the bridal party and the guys. Usually, the guys are ready in a few minutes, where the girls tend to prefer a bit of pampering.
Jenny and Peter were married at the Dalmahoy Hotel and Country Club. Shown here is the bridal party preparations. This is just over one hour of recording of the preparations (including the compulsory glass of champagne!) edited down to a couple of minutes. The music is chosen by the Bride and Groom. A great way to start a wedding video showing how relaxed the bride, her father and all the bridesmaids are.
It is always great to see brides relaxed and enjoying the build-up to their wedding day. I’ve yet to meet a bride who is worried or quite nervous about what lies ahead! Must be the thought of putting on a beautiful wedding dress, being the focus of everyone’s attention, having a ball and going away on a luxury honeymoon for two weeks. And of course, marrying the love of her life! What’s there to be nervous about? 🙂
