It was my pleasure to be filming another Dundas Castle wedding. On this occasion for the wonderful Louise and Chris. I love filming at Dundas Castle. This beautiful and historic private Estate is one of Scotland’s top wedding venues. As you drive along the private access road and Dundas Castle comes into view, it’s easy to see why.
Presented here is the first chapter from Louise and Chris’s wedding film. Louise and Chris had travelled up from Kent to be married at Dundas Castle. They had visited a few Scottish wedding venues. As soon as Louise and Chris saw Dundas Castle, they knew they had found their perfect wedding venue. Louise and Chris booked me to film their entire wedding day.
So the day began with me arriving in time to film the preparations. Louise and Chris prepared in adjacent rooms. This was great as it meant I could go between each room and film the preparations of the guys and the girls. I filmed the hairdressing, the make-up, the small details such as close-ups of the shoes and dresses. Best of all was watching a group of guys from Essex getting to grips with putting skirts full highland kilt outfits on! They managed to do so remarkably well. Very impressive indeed!
Filming the wedding party preparations is the perfect way to begin your wedding video, telling the complete story of your wedding day from start to finish. As always, we film quietly and discreetly in the background. All that is required of you is to select your favourite music for the edit. I’ll do the rest!
Presented here is the video of Louise and Chris’s preparations. The film is an hour of preparations edited down to a few minutes. The edit is synchronised to music chosen by the newly-weds. Enjoy!
