We’ve just had the pleasure of filming Fiona’s Bruntsfield Hotel wedding party preparations. Fiona married Stuart at Craighouse Campus, Craiglockhart, Edinburgh.
We were booked to cover the whole wedding day. This meant filming from the preparations in the morning until the dancing in the evening. So our day began with a short trip to The Bruntsfield Hotel in Edinburgh. There was a great atmosphere when we entered the room. All the girls were nice and relaxed, having a laugh and a wee drink of champagne. For this part of the wedding video, we like to film the little but important details which make each wedding unique. Fiona’s beautiful wedding dress was draped from the four-poster bed. This allowed us to film full length and close up shots of the dress. We also placed the bridal shoes on the floor and filmed close up, detailed shots of these. Importantly, we filmed little details such as the flowers, the jewellery, the makeup being applied and the hair being done. There’s so much to film when you’re with the girls!
Presented here is the first chapter of Fiona and Stuart’s wedding film. We never choose the music used when editing a wedding film, preferring the newly-weds choose their favourite tunes. This makes the edit far more personal, just the way our clients like it.
Once we’d filmed all the preparation shots we needed we departed to Edinburgh Napier Craighouse to film the groom and guests arriving. This is a brilliant exclusive-use wedding venue which features the exquisite Turmeau hall. This grand space is where the wedding breakfast and evening celebrations take place. A really beautiful Edinburgh wedding venue perfect which is a joy to film.
This was a fantastic wedding day. A romantic atmosphere, lovely guests and gorgeous wedding venue. Perfect! We hope you enjoy this short film of the bridal party preparations.
Here are a few wedding photos we’ve taken from the film. Enjoy!
