The natural light and spacious nature of the rooms make them ideal for pre-wedding reportage shooting, capturing every element of your preparations.
The Long Gallery is one of Balbirnie’s most central rooms, sitting in the heart of the original Grade A listed Georgian house. This room is striking for ceremonies, with beautiful architectural balance combining arches and a vaulted ceiling. Natural light floods in from the beautiful lunette windows. Holding up to 100 guests, this is an intimate ceremony venue whatever the season. At Christmas time, you get the added wow-factor of a splendidly decorated tree.
The Orangery is the Millennium addition that blends holistically with the main House while incorporating original features. It adds a truly modern feel to a historical setting. The incredible mirrored tinted-glass ceiling combines with the floor to ceiling Georgian-Style windows to bathe the room in tranquil light.
The Gardens are an unmissable part of any wedding at Balbirnie. Whatever the feel of your wedding, the gardens are ideal as a photo backdrop. Elegant hedgerows balanced with mature trees and interspersed with beautiful beds means we are spoilt for choice. The pathways meandering through the grounds enable you to escape to an area of privacy just seconds away from the main building.
